Hospitality Information Technology Council

HLTA Hospitality IT Council

​The newly-formed Hospitality Information Technology Council consists of technology professionals in the industry and will provide a means of career development through collaboration and education, by promoting best practices, and enhancing professionalism and personal success for its members.

Lodging Members:  All Information Officers, Directors, Managers, or individuals who work in a technology department of an HLTA Lodging Property member. This class of membership is authorized to vote and carry on the business of the Association. Lodging members may designate an alternate to vote in their absence during regular business meetings.
Allied Members: HLTA Allied members in good standing representing technology-related companies and corporations doing business with the visitor industry, or individuals/groups wishing to establish a liaison with the association.
Affiliate Members:  Affiliate members are members invited by the council that provide valuable insight on regulatory issues and therefore will not be charged membership fees.
Student-Teacher Members:  College Undergrad Students and Teachers are welcome to be members and will not be assess the annual membership fee while they are attending school on a fulltime basis.  Event registration fees and other fund raising activities may be discounted at the discretion of the Council. 


Dues for HLTA lodging properties are waived. HLTA allied members are $150.00 annually and you may designate up to five (5) employees to represent your company. Students may join the IT council at no charge, but are required to become an HLTA student member ($25 annually).

NOTE: The 2020 Membership Dues are for the calendar year. The property / company is the member – not the individual. Membership on this committee is open to lodging property IT department employees, allied members, students and invited guests only.
