The Women In Lodging & Tourism Board of Directors is pleased to announce 2023 Woman of the year, Carolyn Leina’ala Lopes, executive housekeeper at the Embassy Suites - Waikiki Beach Walk.
Carol’s experience, dedication, and heartfelt aloha are evidenced by how she leads her team and cares for her guests. Carol lives by the values of na mea ho`okipa (natural hospitality, grace, and generosity), wahi (caring for the Place), Kīnāʻole (doing the right thing), and kuleana (right, privilege, responsibility). She is a positive role model to women, young leaders, and colleagues in her organization and the hospitality industry.
