A Message from your 2022 HYPE Chairs
2022 Allied Chair
Chris Ching Lights-On Digital During a recent HYPE event, Kuhao Zane eloquently stated that traditionalists and innovators are the same people. My 2022 challenge to our Board and membership is to embrace the opportunity - and responsibility - to lean on our learnings from the past as we collectively redefine our industry’s future.
We are honored to serve alongside you all to give back to the industry that has given so much to us. Here’s to 2022. Here’s to the next chapter. Get HYPE’d, Chris Ching 2022 Allied Chairperson |

Carly Clement Lotus Honolulu at Diamond Head and Hotel Renew This is the opportune moment for us to close the gap between seasoned and future leaders of our industry and work together towards a stronger future.
There is an amazing energy building to come out of the gate running - focusing on what we can do and not on what we can’t. We will rely on our talented Board and brilliant HYPE members to carry this energy forward. Mahalo for trusting us to be your leaders in 2022. Let’s make this a year to remember breaking the norms and setting the trend for the future of our industry! Mahalo and Aloha, Carly Clement 2022 Lodging Chairperson |
